The EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan: 7 months into practice.

The implementation of SFDR Level I on the 10th of March marked the first milestone of the EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan. This 10-point action plan aims to leverage financial markets in order to address sustainability challenges, especially those related to climate change. Now 7 months into practice, there is still a long journey ahead.

How are fund managers going to shape this in their investments, how can banks and asset managers make this transparent to investors? Join Ita Demyttenaere, Associate Director, Client Relations at Sustainalytics, as he presents his experience to date in advising asset managers in meeting the requirements of the EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan. The main focus will be on the EU Taxonomy and Sustainability Finance Disclosures Regulations (SFDR).

Among other things, the following issues will be discussed:

• What are the biggest challenges for banks and asset managers?
• Where do theory and practice diverge?
• What can service providers do to help banks and asset managers prepare for January 2022?
