Since February 1, 2020 Katja Filzek works as Senior ESG Strategist in Union Investment’s ESG department in its portfolio management.
She joined from Deutsche Bank AG, where she was a Director in Company Research in the Global Markets division for 14 years. She worked as a fundamental financial analyst and covered mainly large and medium sized German companies in various sectors. Mrs. Filzek serviced German and also international investors and asset managers.
Prior to this position, she worked another eight years as equity analyst in the capital markets divisions of Mainfirst Bank AG and Commerzbank AG.
Mrs. Filzek studied economics at Berufsakademie Mosbach and finished with a Diplom Betriebswirtin (FH) degree and she is a certified CEFA/DVFA financial analyst.
