Sofía leads the global outreach, partnerships, and strategic stakeholder engagement work for WBA’s Social, Gender and Corporate Human Rights Benchmarks. In this capacity, she is a member of PRI Advance’s Technical Advisory Group.

Sofía has a background in social research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement in the fields of corporate accountability and business and human rights. Prior to joining WBA, she worked with organisations such as the World Bank, Oxfam, and Fundación Casa de la Paz.

A native of Chile currently based in the Netherlands, Sofía holds a Master of Global Affairs and Sustainable Development from the Keough School of Global Affairs of the University of Notre Dame, and a BSc in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
