Flavio Garcea works at Clearstream (part of Deutsche Börse Group) where he looks at the application of new technologies, such as blockchain, for capital markets infrastructure. Prior to this, Flavio worked for a number of technology firms such as Intel and HTC, as well as co-founding a startup. Flavio holds a degree in Applied Economics from St. Andrews University, in European Studies from Università di Siena and in Business from ESCP Europe.
