Kritika Kapadia is a seasoned sustainability and ESG consulting professional with over a decade of experience. As a Senior Manager in Deloitte, she oversees Sustainability Strategy and Governance, Sustainable Finance, and EU ESG legislative compliance. She is actively aiding clients in the financial sector with their double materiality assessments and ESG action plans. Previously, she served as a Senior Manager for another firm across Luxembourg and India, where she advised clients across a wide variety of sectors on their sustainability activities. She has prepared sustainability reports, developed sustainability strategies and due diligence plans, and provided assurance for companies in the financial industry in Luxembourg.
She has been closely following the evolution of the EU sustainable finance regulations since the early days in 2019 and has since provided regular counsel and managing implementation projects in line with CSRD, EU Taxonomy and SFDR. Kritika is an active member of the sustainable finance community in Luxembourg. She has contributed to ESG discourse in ABBL, ALFI, FEDIL and LPEA. She is a member of the Luxembourg – Global Landscapes Forum Finance for Nature Platform.
Earlier in her career, she executed several sustainability projects as a Senior Consultant that included stakeholder engagements, materiality assessments, data analytics and communications, and management of sustainability in the supply chain. She covered sectors such as consumer products, infrastructure and construction, cement, and automobiles. In the past, she has also worked for a wildlife magazine in India. She managed and executed climate change awareness programs and developed content across various communication platforms, including websites, social media, print articles and coffee table books.
Kritika holds a bachelors from Allegheny College, USA with a major in Environmental Sciences and minor in Psychology, and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
She is bilingual in English and Hindi, conversational in Gujrati and Marathi, and has a basic understanding of French and Luxembourgish.
