Cosmin-Laurențiu OLTEANU

Cosmin has over two decades of experience in microfinance and financial inclusion. He has been involved in the creation and management of several microfinance banks in Africa and emerging markets. In executive and advisor roles, he has supported institutions in navigating strategic, operational, and digital transformation challenges. As former CEO of AB Bank Zambia, he led a successful institutional turnaround, marked by substantial growth in outreach and solid financial performance. His background also includes board-level mandates with microfinance banks and investment funds. He currently serves as Investment Officer at the European Investment Bank, in charge of private equity investments in global microfinance and impact funds.
