Cherryl Dentzer is a Sustainable Finance Advisor at the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, a position she has held since 2025. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in sustainable finance, with a particular focus on blended finance and gender‑inclusive finance.

Prior to joining the Ministry of Finance, she spent over a decade at the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity as an Advisor for International Climate Finance, where she oversaw Luxembourg’s international climate finance project portfolio and budget.

Earlier in her career, she worked for eight years in the private sector as an environmental consultant at ProSolut SA and subsequently at ArcelorMittal, where she ultimately headed the Environment Department for the Luxembourg‑based Long Carbon sites.

She holds a master’s degree in Population and Ecosystem Biology from the University of Strasbourg and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Liège.
