Call for expressions of interest – provision of ESG and sustainable finance data

LuxFLAG has launched a call for expressions of interest (CEI) for the provision of ESG and sustainable finance data to support its internal label application review and verification activities.

As an independent, non-profit labelling and verification agency, LuxFLAG applies robust and transparent eligibility criteria to assess financial products integrating ESG, impact and transition considerations. High-quality, independent data is a key component of this process, enabling LuxFLAG to challenge, corroborate and benchmark the methodologies and claims presented by applicants.

This Call aims to identify and pre-qualify data providers capable of delivering comprehensive, transparent and auditable data covering, among others:

  • Corporate issuers
  • Sovereign and supranational issuers
  • Investment funds and collective investment schemes

The scope of the Call includes ESG data, regulatory and compliance-related metrics (including SFDR and EU Taxonomy), transition and climate alignment metrics, as well as impact ratings and thematic data. Selected data will be used exclusively for internal review and verification purposes and for the publication of aggregated and anonymised insights at the level of labelled products.

The CEI does not constitute a commitment to purchase or enter into a contractual relationship. It is intended to assess market capabilities and inform a potential subsequent testing and negotiation phase.

The full Call for expressions of interest, including scope, requirements, evaluation criteria and submission instructions, is available for download here:

Deadline for submission of expressions of interest: 8 February 2026
