Why LuxFLAG Training
LuxFLAG’s training services are designed to provide advanced, practitioner-oriented insights, grounded in real-world ESG assessment and fund labelling experience.
The program focuses on areas where market offerings often lack depth, including greenwashing risks, impact investing and sustainable governance. Delivered by LuxFLAG experts with hands-on regulatory and assessment experience, the training complements LuxFLAG’s core labelling mission while ensuring a high level of technical credibility and practical relevance.

Target audience
LuxFLAG’s training services are primarily designed for financial intermediaries and are exclusively available to LuxFLAG Associate Members. The program is targeted at banking, insurance and asset management professionals, especially those in roles subject to MiFID II and IDD training requirements.
Format
The training sessions will be delivered in group formats, either in person or online, and led by LuxFLAG experts.
In-person sessions are expected to take place at the House of Finance in Luxembourg.
Timing
The 2026 training program is planned to start in early April 2026, with a limited number of sessions delivered as part of a targeted and structured rollout. An overview of the planned schedule is provided in the table further below.
Modules - 2026
The 2026 pilot focuses on advanced, practitioner-oriented modules built on LuxFLAG’s hands-on experience in ESG assessment, fund labelling and sustainable finance governance.
In addition to the scheduled sessions, tailored group formats can be organized upon request to accommodate specific organizational needs.
ESG Products & Greenwashing Risks
A practical deep dive into ESG-labelled products, focusing on how to identify, assess and mitigate greenwashing risks. The module covers regulatory expectations, product design considerations, ESG metrics and disclosure requirements, drawing on real-life assessment experience.
Impact Investing
An advanced overview of impact investing approaches, from strategy design to portfolio integration. The session explores how impact objectives can be embedded into investment processes, how outcomes are measured, and how impact considerations interact with financial performance.
Sustainable Governance for Funds and Portfolio Managers
This module examines how sustainability considerations can be effectively integrated into governance and decision-making frameworks. It focuses on roles and responsibilities, oversight mechanisms, and the use of metrics and reporting to support robust and accountable sustainable governance.
